Biography

A Quincy, Massachusetts native, Frank Strazzulla, Jr. studied at the Massachusetts College of Art and extensively in Italy at Villa Schifanoia in Florence and the respected Studio Cecil-Graves also in Florence. Strazzulla's artistic process involves painstakingly grinding his own pigments, drawing en-plein-air and finally using those sketches to create his finished work of art. He has won numerous accolades for his romantic realist, light-infused work including awards from the Copley Society, Boston. His works are held in private and corporate collections worldwide.
